​​About MeMy name is Brodyn Evans, and I’m a recent graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, where I earned my Master of Fine Arts with a focus on Film and Animation. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media and Animation from Alfred State College.
Over the years, I’ve been deeply committed to developing my skills and expanding my creative toolkit. Through coursework and studio projects, I’ve become proficient in industry-standard tools including Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and the Adobe Creative Suite. I’m passionate about staying ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving animation field, constantly exploring new techniques and software to produce innovative, efficient, and polished work.
I thrive in collaborative environments, bringing respectful communication, active listening, and leadership to every team I join. I’m highly organized, quick-thinking, and excel at creative problem-solving. While I enjoy working with others, I’m equally confident in managing projects independently with minimal supervision.
My passion for 3D animation spans the entire pipeline — from pre-production through production to post-production — and drives me to continually grow as an artist and storyteller.
Beyond my academic and professional pursuits, I’m proud to give back to my community by volunteering with local nonprofits. I’ve contributed to projects in graphic design, videography, and photography, including designing bus wraps for a local transportation system. I also had the incredible opportunity to participate in a study-abroad field study in Tokyo, Japan, where I collaborated with a team to animate a music video.
