My name is Brodyn Evans, and I am a graduate student at the Rochester Institute of Technology earning my master's degree in fine art with a focus on film and animation. I will graduate in May 2025. I received my bachelor's degree in digital media and animation from Alfred State College.
Over the past many years, I have been dedicated to learning and honing my craft. Class and studio work have led me to be proficient in Maya, Mudbox, Substance Painter, and the Adobe Creative Suite. Yet, recognizing the continuous advancements being made in the animation field, I continuously strive to learn new and innovative techniques to produce the most creative, efficient, and polished results. I am always exploring different tools and software to expand my knowledge and understanding of 3D Design and Animation. As both a student and as a Residential Assistant, I have gained immense experience working in a team environment. I am respectful and actively listen to my peers and supervisors, while often taking on a leadership role. I am well-organized, a fast thinker, and have excellent creative problem-solving skills, Although I enjoy working as part of a team, I also excel working independently with minimal supervision. I am self-motivated and my passion for 3D animation from pre-production through production to post-production drives me to be my best. Additionally, I take pride in volunteering within my community for local not-for-profits sharing my talent through various projects, including graphic design, videography, and photography. One example includes designing the outside bus wraps for a local transportation system. As well, I was fortunate to be selected to join Alfred State College for a study-abroad field study in Tokyo, Japan, where I worked with a team to animate a music video. |
